Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Plains seeks a part-time Success Lead to provide individualized and small-group academic support, plan engaging lessons, and supervise program areas. You will collaborate with staff, families, and teachers to foster student success and uphold Positive Youth Development practices.

The role involves maintaining a safe environment, supporting positive behavior, and guiding assigned staff while delivering high-quality programming aligned with the Club's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or working toward an Education Degree.
• Two years of current or previous work with elementary-aged children.
• Ability to comprehend, apply, and demonstrate behavior management principles as well as other youth treatment methods.

Responsibilities

• Support the academic growth, development, and overall progress of youth.
• Demonstrate proficiency in assigned academic subject areas and assist in curriculum development.
• Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all members.
• Encourage problem-solving, curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Provide academic support through homework assistance, enrichment activities, and other opportunities.
• Ensure safety and supervision of youth within the facility and program activities.
• Communicate progress and concerns to the Education Coordinator.
