Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue seeks a Licensed Preschool Coordinator 2 to oversee high-quality early learning across multiple Bellevue preschool sites. You will support lead teachers, plan curriculum aligned with DCYF guidelines, and ensure licensing compliance.

Qualifications

• Must meet Washington State licensing requirements for a Program Supervisor or equivalent role (e.g., ECE credits, STARS training, background check).
• Preferably, 30 college credits in Early Childhood Education or related coursework.
• Experience working in a licensed early childhood education setting in a management-level position.
• Strong understanding of Washington State licensing regulations (DCYF), Early Achievers, and early learning best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support teaching staff.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between sites during the workday.
• Experience with Early Achievers
• Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff and families

Position Summary

The Licensed Preschool Coordinator 2 plays a key role in supporting high-quality early learning experiences across multiple licensed preschool sites. Working under the Licensed Preschool Area Director, this position helps ensure curriculum excellence, program consistency, and compliance with Washington State licensing regulations. The coordinator provides hands‑on support to lead teachers, assists with curriculum planning and implementation, monitors program quality, and helps maintain safe, developmentally appropriate learning environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Help maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance files.
• Support preparation for licensing visits, quality assessments, and audits.
• Monitor health and safety practices, including ratios, supervision, sanitation, and emergency procedures.

Family & Community Engagement

• Support communication with families regarding curriculum, classroom activities, and program updates.
• Participate in family events, open houses, and community engagement activities.
• Promote a welcoming, inclusive environment for children and families.

Operational Support

• Assist with scheduling, staffing coordination, and classroom coverage when needed.
• Help maintain inventory of classroom materials and supplies.
• Support implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
• Travel regularly between preschool sites within Bellevue as part of routine duties.
