Job summary

Garden City Mazda in Garden City, NY is hiring a Business Development Representative – Automotive Service Appointment Scheduler to handle high-volume service calls, book appointments, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role offers pay starting at $18 per hour plus bonuses, paid training, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, employee discounts on products and services, full-time with a 5-day work week, and a clear path for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling high call volumes and delivering excellent customer service.
• Onsite position in automotive service context is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and work with vehicle owners to book appointments for vehicle service.
• Call customers to confirm service appointments and/or remind them when their vehicle is due for its next service.
• Assist with recalls: identify customers with open recalls and schedule appointments.
• Call customers who need recalls completed and set convenient appointments.
• Assist with other duties as needed/assigned.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and work with vehicle owners to book appointments for vehicle service
• Call customers to confirm service appointments and/or remind them when their vehicle is due for its next service
• Assist with recalls: The Service Manager will supply a list of customers in our database with open recalls and/or due maintenance
• Call customers who need the recall completed on their vehicle and set an appointment that is mutually convenient for the customer and service department
• Assist with other duties as needed/ assigned

Requirements

• This is an onsite position
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus!
• Great phone voice and experience handling high call volume
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Basic knowledge of Computer Data Entry and Microsoft Word & Excel, as well as a Multi-Line Phone systems
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
