Job summary

Sames Auto Group in McAllen, TX is seeking a courteous BDC representative to grow the business by building relationships with guests and coordinating requests for the sales and service teams.

You will handle inbound inquiries, schedule firm appointments, and maintain accurate guest data while adhering to privacy rules; success is measured by leads converting to sales and high guest satisfaction; you will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills via phone, in person, and online.

Responsibilities

• Handle all guest inquiries with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction.
• Receive inbound calls on new and pre-owned vehicles to set firm appointment dates.
• Provide vehicle sales/service information and maintain product and inventory knowledge.
• Enter guest data into BDC database accurately.
• Follow detailed scripts to meet dealership objectives.
• Work in a team-based environment with other BDC reps.
• Ensure timely follow-up on internet leads.
• Adhere to National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.
• Collaborate with BDC leadership and report to management.
• Participate in meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Description

In the role of a BDC representative, you will drive growth by developing and nurturing business relationships with present and future customers. You will coordinate incoming online and telephone requests, and make appointments for the sales/service team. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the number of leads that convert to actual sales.

• Handle all guest inquiries with a focus on 100% guest satisfaction.
• Receive inbound calls on new and pre-owned vehicles with a goal to establish a firm appointment date and time from the prospect guest to visit the sales or service department.
• Project a friendly and helpful demeanor while answering questions and inquiries from guests, and providing general or related vehicle sales/service information.
• Maintain and communicate exceptional product and inventory knowledge to our guests.
• Gather and track all guest data as directed; accurately enter into BDC database.
• Utilize detailed scripts provided by the dealership in addressing guest inquiries and concerns to meet the dealerships and manufactures objectives.
• Work in close proximity with other Sales BDC Representatives in a team based environment.
• Facilitate timely follow up on all internet leads as directed by management and/or procedures.
• Strictly adhere to all company direction related to the National Do Not Call List and Privacy Acts.
• Partner with BDC leadership on activities in the dealership / outside the call center.
• Communicate with the dealership management or front-line employees on behalf of our guests.
• Participate in departmental and dealership meetings; other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
