Job summary

Lithia & Driveway’s L0358 Honda of Clear Lake is seeking a BDC Manager to lead a growing team, optimize lead handling, and enhance customer interactions. You will oversee scheduling, reporting, and training to maximize results and sales efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and a solid understanding of automotive internet/BDC operations, with a commitment to flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated professional with proven team leadership and people management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years' experience as an automotive internet/BDC manager.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, general computer systems, and efficient data entry.

Responsibilities

• Manage BDC team members.
• Develop and implement a solid follow-up process and document success rate.
• Balance phone and web-based traffic while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Assign leads to team members to optimize results.
• Train team on phone & internet communications & sales skills.
• Write routine reports and correspondence; calculate figures such as commissions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: This position requires open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. Successful candidates will be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak sales periods and key opportunities for maximizing earnings.

Responsibilities

• Manage BDC team members
• Develop and implement a solid follow-up process and document success rate.
• Capable of balancing phone and web-based traffic while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Managing assignment of leads to the appropriate team members to optimize results
• Training team members on phone & internet communications & sales skills.
• Write routine reports and correspondence; calculate figures and amounts such as commissions and percentages.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• What You'll Bring Self-motivated professional with a demonstrated track record of successful team leadership and people management High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have minimum two (2) + years' experience as an automotive internet/BDC manager.
• We prefer familiarity with Microsoft Word, general computer systems, and efficient data entry practices.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
