Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support our Corporate and AI service offerings. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, translates priorities into actionable plans, and drafts client-facing materials for new business opportunities.

You will collaborate with attorneys, BDMC, and marketing peers to analyze market data, manage deal reporting, and execute campaigns that grow client relationships. A strong writing and presentation skill set is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in law firm, professional services, or related environment.
• Familiarity with deal reporting, pipeline management, and competitive market intelligence in a legal setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with deal databases and marketing intelligence platforms (Pitchbook, Mergermarket, Bloomberg) and CRM systems such as InterAction and Foundation is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to draft and produce proposals, collateral, research reports, and client-facing materials.

• Develop and maintain deep understanding of the group’s attorneys, client base, and market capabilities; communicate value proposition effectively.
• Collaborate with BDMC teams to drive cross-team initiatives and deliverables.
• Lead collection, analysis, and quality control of deal reporting to inform strategy.
• Draft, revise, and produce marketing materials including pitches, RFPs, and client sheets for new opportunities.
• Coordinate with BDMC, attorneys, and business professionals to raise visibility through events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements.
