Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking a Business Development Driver Manager to join the Marketing and Client Development team in the United States. The role drives BD and marketing activity, turning priorities into action through structured processes and disciplined pipeline management.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Marketing and Partners, creating impactful briefing materials, and overseeing campaign activation and pipeline integrity, while mentoring direct reports and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marketing or business development.
• Demonstrated business development skills, including pipeline management and campaign execution.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM systems, e.g. Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the firm’s BD ground game with structured meeting prep and pipeline management.
• Oversee development of high-impact briefing materials and meeting strategies for client interactions.
• Partner with Marketing to manage lead flow and convert campaigns into opportunities.
• Coordinate across Marketing, BD leaders, and Partners for clear handoffs.
• Translate internal discussions into actionable plans with persistent follow-up.
• Maintain pipeline integrity and provide status updates for senior leadership.
• Refine BD support processes to increase efficiency and growth.
