Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Director 1, Business Development – (MEP) TS/SCI to lead end-to-end BD for Mission Enabling Products. You will drive investment strategy, partnerships, and capture support, reporting to the Division Senior Director and coordinating with a campaign team of professionals.

You will quickly understand requirements to win, develop compelling value propositions, and present executive briefings in a fast-paced, competitive environment. 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 12+ years Aerospace/Defense experience.
• 10+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application.
• Strong understanding of DoD and national security space missions.
• Experience developing and executing BD plans to influence all aspects of new business capture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute new business strategy.
• Identify, shape, and qualify new opportunities; assess threats and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct mission area and business analysis in support of growth objectives.
• Support new business capture, including BAP and Position-to-Win (PTW) execution.
• Partner with Space Systems divisions, other NG sectors, and industry teammates to create and mature new business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior and mid-level government decision makers, with emphasis on national security space acquirers and users.
• Collaborate with NGC Government Relations on customer engagement strategy and execution.
• Provide customer insight, planning, analysis, and strategy for pursuits, including integrated bid/no-bid packages and long-range strategic plan inputs.
• Analyze future customer requirements and trends to inform pipeline and investment planning.
