Job summary

Stellantis in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Launch Project Manager within the Body, Chassis, Interior (BCI) Quality Team to ensure all project quality targets are met, manage launch timelines and deliverables, and oversee the transition to quality volume production.

You will lead technical reviews, track milestones, assess risks, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing to resolve issues and maintain launch readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
• 10+ years in automotive Product/Manufacturing/Supplier/Quality roles.
• Willingness to relocate for 6-8 months.
• Mastery of geometry assessments.
• Management of scheduling, organization, and internal processes for the launching phase activities.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and trades (stamping, welding, painting and assembly).
• Knowledge of the BCI product design fundamentals.
• Self-motivator with a passion for automobiles and quality.
• Basic understanding of statistics and root cause problem solving.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead launch quality targets and manage timelines and deliverables.
• Oversee part conformity, design validation and change requests for launch vehicle issues.
• Escalate issues with partners, suppliers, subcontractors for timely resolution.
• Ensure safety conditions and maintain working quality for the launch team.
• Lead technical reviews and milestone status reporting to management.
• Coordinate engineering transition to quality volume production through validation of design and manufacturing readiness.
