Job summary
Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) at Brenham State Supported Living Center is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst I to provide senior-level behavior analysis services, supervision, and program development for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Under minimal supervision, you will perform functional assessments, develop behavior support plans, train staff, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree required in behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field.
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) is required; licensure as a Behavior Analyst in Texas preferred.
- Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior support plans.
- Provide supervision and training to behavioral health staff and interdisciplinary teams.
- Consult and provide technical assistance to residents and staff to implement effective behavior analysis interventions.
- Ensure documentation, data collection, and program evaluation are maintained in compliance with regulatory requirements.
