Job summary

The Behavior Analyst I at Brenham State Supported Living Center, part of the Health & Human Services Commission, provides senior level behavior analysis services through consultation and staff training, under minimal supervision.

You will conduct functional assessments, develop behavior support plans, supervise behavioral health staff, and help ensure compliance with laws and agency policies while supporting residents with IDD and challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in behavior analysis, psychology, or related field.
• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) eligibility; Texas licensure preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and develop behavior support plans.
• Provide training and clinical consultation to staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Evaluate data and suggest clinical recommendations based on results.
• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and agency policies; participate in DOA and can include disaster response activities.
