Job summary

Illuminating Steps LLC in Roosevelt, NY is seeking a passionate BCBA to join our growing team and deliver high-quality ABA services in a school-based setting. You will conduct FBAs and skills assessments, develop treatment plans, supervise RBTs, and collaborate with families to ensure consistency of care.

You will lead data collection and analysis, maintain compliant documentation, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification in good standing.
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience with individuals with ASD and developmental disabilities.
• Proficiency in FBAs, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R or similar assessments.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills for supervising RBTs and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for parent and team collaboration.
• School-based experience; initially 2 days per week with potential increase.

Responsibilities

• School-based setting involvement and direct ABA service delivery.
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including FBAs and skills assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized ABA treatment plans and BIPs.
• Provide supervision and training to RBTs and paraprofessionals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data for decision making.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.
