Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a BCBA for a school-based role in Houston, TX. You will provide direct services to students with behavior IEPs, assist in BIP development, attend ARD meetings, and provide staff consultation. You’ll conduct FBAs, adjust BIPs as needed, and track data with Frontline.

The position serves 2–3 high school students, about 2 hours per week initially, with indirect time for staff collaboration, data review, and documentation for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required and in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, ABA, Special Education, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of school-based behavioral support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students with behavior IEPs.
• Assist in development of BIPs and attend ARD meetings.
• Consult with school staff and campus personnel.
• Conduct or update FBAs and revise BIPs as needed.
• Determine service frequency with case manager and SPED teacher.
• Collect and review behavior data and document services/progress in Frontline.
