Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Littleton/Lakewood, CO is seeking a Case Supervisor (Practicum Student) to join our Apex Program. You will receive structured supervision and hands-on clinical exposure while accruing practicum hours toward BCBA certification, under the guidance of a BCBA-led team.

This full-time hourly role offers progress toward Lead Case Supervisor and a supportive, collaborative clinical environment focused on ESDM, interdisciplinary care, family guidance, and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program in ABA or a related field that meets BCBA coursework requirements.
• You must be at least in your second semester of your master’s or certificate program.
• Actively accruing practicum hours toward BCBA certification
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children and families
• Emerging skills in case conceptualization, client programming, and clinical planning
• Emerging skills in coaching and supporting RBTs
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and receive feedback
• Commitment to Soar’s mission and values
• Interest in growing into a future BCBA role

Responsibilities

• Serve as a case supervisor for client cases, with scope determined by center needs and program progress.
• Accrue paid unrestricted hours through client programming, supervision, family guidance, assessment, and other BCBA-aligned responsibilities.
• Update client goals and programming using Soar’s data system.
• Provide support and supervision to RBTs, with coaching from BCBAs.
• Participate in ESDM-specific trainings to grow your clinical skillset.
• Learn to develop Behavior Intervention Plans using approaches like Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment.
• Support family treatment guidance meetings using Soar’s in-house curriculum.
• Assist with assessments and reassessments for clients, including tools like Vineland, QABF, FAST, and ESDM Curriculum Checklist.
• Receive coaching from Local Clinical Trainer, Partner Clinician, and other BCBAs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and others.
• Provide direct client therapy as part of your full-time role, with a mix of direct therapy and unrestricted activities.
