Job summary

ABA SHINE in the Bay Area seeks a BCBA to oversee Behavior Technicians delivering ABA programs or Behavior Respite services for children and young adults served by the Regional Center. You will ensure services are safe, ethical, and compliant with BACB standards and California Title 17.

This role emphasizes risk assessment, supervision, and collaboration with caregivers, case managers, and schools to maintain consistent, client-centered services.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification is required.
• Experience supervising RBTs/BTs.
• Experience with pediatric ABA and respite settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk/safety and support needs reviews.
• Train, coach, and supervise RBTs/BTs.
• QA & compliance: uphold BACB standards and California Title 17.
• Partner with caregivers, case managers, and schools for consistency.
• Champion ethical, culturally responsive practice and client dignity.
