Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Altoona, IA to lead center and home-based ABA programs for children on the autism spectrum. The role focuses on supervision, service delivery, and collaboration with families and clinicians.

You will ensure quality treatment, supervise staff, and manage administrative tasks, with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practices, state guidelines, and coordination with insurance for funding.

Qualifications

• Must be Board Certified Behavior Analyst or licensed in state requirements.
• Experience with applied behavior analysis for autism.
• Ability to supervise clinical staff and provide coaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ABA treatment services including assessment, programming, progress monitoring, and parent training.
• Ensure standards of care are followed per state and insurance guidelines.
• Provide clinical recommendations on intensity, modality, and transition planning in collaboration with families.
• Train and supervise clinical staff to maintain high quality services.
• Complete administrative tasks including reports and insurance reviews.
