Job summary

New Horizons in Autism in New Jersey is seeking a skilled BCBA to lead clinical services and shape outcomes for individuals with autism across residential, day, and community settings.

You will supervise BCaBAs, RBTs, and BCBA candidates, coach staff, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to implement behavior support plans and data-driven interventions. This role emphasizes mentorship, training, and BACB-aligned practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
• BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
• Completion of BACB's 8-hour supervision course and eligibility to supervise per BACB requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and ability to maintain certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license and insurance in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a dynamic caseload across residential, day, community, and other service settings.
• Conduct functional analyses and assessments for challenging behavior.
• Develop individualized skill acquisition programs and behavior support plans.
• Provide supervision and coaching to BCaBAs, RBTs, and candidates pursuing BCBA certification.
• Lead trainings and professional development workshops.
• Complete timely documentation and ensure compliance with BACB and NHIA requirements.
