Job summary

Rogers Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to deliver applied behavior analysis in an inpatient setting.

You will conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and analyze data to guide treatment decisions. You will train nursing staff and technicians, collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals, and participate actively in treatment team meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, psychology, or related health field.
• BCBA certification in state of practice.
• Preferably 2 years of FBA and BIP experience in psychiatric inpatient setting.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire; bi-annual re-certification is required.
• NCI training within 60 days of hire; annual re-certification is required.
• Compliance with RCC and CBRF requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the function of challenging behaviors.
• Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on FBA results.
• Implement and monitor BIPs, collect and analyze data to evaluate effectiveness.
• Document progress and data in accordance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide staff training and ongoing support on BIPs and ABA principles.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute clinical recommendations.
• Assist with workplace safety and crisis intervention as needed.
• Possibly supervise RBTs or other technicians and support organization priorities.
