Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA’s supervision. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

You’ll join a compassionate team with comprehensive onboarding and opportunities to grow, including training and career pathways within Centria Autism. The role emphasizes physical readiness and client safety.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test within the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the team.
