Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in school settings nationwide. You will collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized services, monitor behavior, and track educational progress.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and family engagement. The position involves developing and implementing behavior programs, creating supportive materials, and collaborating with school teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or graduating from an ABA program and in the process or eligible to sit for the BCBA exam.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Proven ability and working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior training and consultation to school personnel
• Facilitate family engagement (general training, newsletters, access to external supports)
• Collaborate with external partners and providers to support students, families, and staff
• Observe students in their educational environment, analyze data, and conduct assessments as needed
• Write notes/recommendations for the educational team and ABA reports
• Create and model behavior programs/strategies in the school environment
• Help create materials for the educational team to support student success
• Facilitate data collection with educational teams to monitor progress
• Develop behavior intervention plans for students with behavioral concerns
• Review data and provide follow-ups and modifications as needed
• Identify behavioral difficulties affecting attendance, adjustment, academics
• Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences
• Present ABA and behavior modification techniques to the team
• Opportunity for supervision of RBT/BCBA/trainees
