Job summary

Triton Regional School District Newbury Elementary in Newbury, MA seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCBA will collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to implement behavioral interventions and support planning under the Director of Student Services guidance.

The successful candidate holds a BCBA and a relevant master's degree, with experience in FBA, BIP, IEP processes, and behavior support for students with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology/Education or related field.
• BCBA certification.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, and Team Chairs as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to recommend instructional and behavioral modifications and monitor student progress.
• Participate in Team evaluations, IEP meetings, and other educational planning meetings.
• Conduct and support Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Provide home-based consultative services to families, as outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Demonstrated experience working with students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Experience supporting students with significant behavioral challenges, including aggression and self-injurious behaviors.
• Consult with school evaluation teams to enhance the quality of assessments, educational planning, service delivery, and family communication.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and core content areas, with the ability to adapt instruction to align with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and assessments.
