Job summary

New Horizons in Autism seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Clinical Team in New Jersey. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing a dynamic caseload across residential, day, and community settings, coaching staff, and driving data-driven interventions to improve independence for adults on the autism spectrum.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized programs, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
Completion of the BACB's 8-hour supervision course and eligibility to supervise.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
CPR/First Aid certification and ability to maintain certification.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
Valid New Jersey driver’s license and insurance in good standing.
Ability to complete required background checks.

Responsibilities

Oversee a dynamic caseload and adapt schedules to meet client and team needs.
Conduct VB-MAPP, FISH, Essential for Living, Preference Assessments, AFLS assessments.
Perform FBA/FA for challenging behavior and develop skill acquisition programs.
Design function-based interventions and data collection systems.
Review data and modify treatment plans to maintain progress.
Provide supervision to BCaBAs, RBTs, and BCBA candidates.
Lead trainings, meetings, and professional development sessions.
Complete intake assessments and coordinate interdisciplinary care.
