Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is seeking a nurturing Behavioral Specialist/BCBA Candidate to support Kellman Brown Academy, a private pre-school through 8th-grade school. You will provide proactive behavioral and social-emotional support, conduct FBAs, and develop individualized BIPs under supervision to promote inclusive learning and school readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field with at least one year of fieldwork.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and ABA practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaboration with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, and executive functioning support for children in childcare and preschool settings.
• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans when appropriate.
• Design and implement strategies to support self-regulation, communication, independence, and social skills.
• Offer staff coaching, classroom consultation, and professional development on behavior support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective intervention planning and continuity of care.
