The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey seeks a nurturing Behavioral Specialist/BCBA Candidate to support the Katz JCC Early Childhood Center and Kellman Brown Academy. This role emphasizes proactive coaching, classroom consultation, and collaborative planning with teachers and families to promote social, emotional, and behavioral development for children from infancy to 5th grade contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or ABA, Social Work, Education, or related field with fieldwork.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of ABA and person-centered planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, and executive functioning support for children in childcare/preschool settings.
• Build positive relationships with children, teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized BIPs when appropriate.
• Design and implement individualized and classroom-based strategies to support self-regulation and communication.
• Facilitate individual and small-group social skills instruction.
• Support children with neurodivergence and developmental differences through planning and skill-building.
