Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Nassau County, NY. The role may be part-time (Fee for Service) or full-time, with compensation ranging from $40 to $75 per hour or a yearly $58,500 to $75,000, depending on caseload, licensure, and experience.

The position includes comprehensive benefits such as PTO, health, 401(k), and professional development opportunities. Travel between school districts is required to provide on-site consultation and support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field required.
• BCBA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience supporting children and families.
• NYS Driver’s License with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop individualized behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate to identify function and develop interventions.
• Design, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching and training to classroom staff on behavioral strategies.
• Support IEPs and CSE meetings; ensure alignment with educational objectives.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records per HIPAA/FERPA and company policies.
• Travel between assigned school districts to provide on-site consultation.
