Family of Kidz is seeking a Behavior Consultant/BCBA in Suffolk County, NY. This part-time role (FFS or full-time potential) offers a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff. You will work with school teams to implement evidence-based behavioral supports and progress monitoring.

The role requires a Master’s in ABA or related field and NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification. Travel to assigned districts is required, with ongoing professional development and HIPAA/FERPA

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field required.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA/LBA certification required or eligible.
• Experience working with children and families in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with school staff and families to develop evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify functions.
• Design and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with goals.
• Collect and interpret behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide staff coaching and training on behavioral strategies.
• Support IEPs and IEP-related behavioral programming.
• Attend CSE meetings and communicate progress with supervisors.
• Maintain documentation and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
