Job summary

Family of Kidz in Suffolk County, NY seeks a Behavior Consultant / BCBA to support students with behavioral services across school settings. Position offers part-time fee-for-service or full-time options with a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days and compensation ranging from $40–$75 per hour (FFS) or $58,500–$75,000 annually.

Responsibilities include FBAs, BIPs, data-driven interventions, and collaboration with school teams and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in one of the following: Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, Educational/Health/Human Services.
• NYS BCBA, NYS BCABA Certification and/or LBA required.
• Minimum of (1) year experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Partner with schools and families to develop individualized, evidence-based behavioral supports.
• Conduct FBAs and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify functions of behavior.
• Design, implement, and monitor BIPs aligned with student needs and goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Provide coaching to classroom staff for consistent implementation of strategies.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and attend CSE meetings as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation per HIPAA and FERPA.
