Family of Kidz is seeking an individual for a behavior specialist role in Town of Greenport, NY. This position offers part-time or full-time potential and a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include working with school teams, conducting assessments, and developing behavior intervention plans.

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in a relevant field and possesses strong communication and collaboration skills. Compensation ranges from $65 to $80 per hour or $63,500 to $85,000 annually based on experience. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children and families.
• NYS Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance required.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic and individual behavior supports.
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA).
• Develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Train staff on behavioral strategies and data collection systems.
• Analyze data and modify interventions.
