Job summary

Achievement Centers for Children in Cleveland, OH runs an Autism School partnering with Educational Service Centers and local districts to provide language development, behavioral supports, and academics for students from kindergarten through graduation.

The interdisciplinary team delivers ABA and CPI, supporting students and families to progress toward less restrictive learning environments while collaborating with schools and communities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, interpret assessments and reports; write compliance reports and professional correspondence.
• Strong collaboration with families, educators and administrators.
• Ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting students with autism using evidence-based practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess, create, coordinate and implement behavior analysis services and BIPs for students with autism.
• Develop professional development materials and provide resources on ABA, CPI and related methodologies.
• Create and assist with development of BIPs and ABA techniques for students with behavior/learning challenges.
• Provide direct intervention and coaching to staff; support in implementing behavior plans.
• Offer training and support to parents/guardians and families.
