Job summary

Ola Sol in California is seeking a Beverage Sales Representative/Sales Manager to launch and grow our presence in the Bay Area’s on-premise and off-premise channels.

You will open new accounts, educate on our agave wine, develop cocktail programs, and coordinate with distributors while building a sales team over time. Flexible to part-time, contract, or full-time roles, with potential equity for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside sales or beverage/alcohol sales experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Bay Area alcohol market and account relationships a plus.
• Passion for wine, agave, and cocktail culture.
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter who thrives in a new category sales environment.
• Skilled at relationship building, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Organized, results-oriented, and comfortable with both strategy and execution.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Base salary + uncapped commission/bonus (expected 15–25% of salary).

Responsibilities

• Drive alcohol beverage sales: Open new accounts, build relationships, and secure re-orders.
• Tell the Ola Sol story: Educate distributors, retailers, bartenders, and consumers about agave wine.
• Build cocktail programs: Create offerings that increase volume and margin.
• Work the market: Minimum 4 days per week calling on accounts.
• Distributor management: Partner with distributor team to ensure alignment and growth.
• Plan & execute strategy: Develop monthly sales plans, manage budgets, hit KPIs.
• Host trainings & tastings: Conduct brand education and build awareness through events.
• Stay compliant: Ensure all sales practices follow state & company laws/policies.
