Job summary

Octillion Power Systems is seeking a field technician to deliver outstanding customer service while testing lithium-ion battery packs and supporting repair and maintenance of high voltage systems at customer sites across the United States.

Responsibilities include wiring harnesses, installing, repairing, and testing, managing logs, data collection, and communicating with customers about technical issues; travel will be required within jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Testing lithium ion battery packs.
• Handling high voltage lithium-ion battery system repair and maintenance.
• Repairing high voltage and low voltage lithium-ion battery packs, replacing components and performing measurements.
• Supporting day-to-day engineering tasks and tying workflow to schedule.
• Manufacturing wire harnesses and test rigs to support battery pack manufacturing and testing.
• Travel to customer sites within the allotted jurisdictions to collect data.
• Troubleshooting technical issues; operating company laptop and testing tools to evaluate issues and implement repairs.
• Maintaining tool kits, laptops, connectors and other equipment.
• Communicating with customers about technical issues.
• Creating daily activity logs and part tracking sheets.
• Managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
