Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Construction Manager for a Battery Storage (BESS) project in Georgia. This field-based role requires coordinating site construction activities with the Project Field Manager, supporting schedule execution, safety, cost control, and quality, with travel to project sites.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of construction supervision, a degree in construction or engineering, and OSHA training, with experience in substations or energy construction environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of construction supervisory experience.
• OSHA training and ability to pass onboarding/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead field construction teams to deliver Substation and BESS work safely and on schedule.
• Develop staffing plans, monitor productivity, and manage cost reporting.
• Collaborate with EH&S, craft trades, and client representatives to meet quality standards.
