Job summary

Jobtailor in Ohio is seeking a Battery Assembly Rework Specialist to lead rework activities on rejected battery assemblies, validate processes, and troubleshoot root causes to improve quality, cost, and robustness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies.

This role requires 5+ years experience, a Journeyman Card, strong leadership, and the ability to train others and hand over procedures.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with 5+ years of proven experience.
Journeyman Card is required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for rework activities of rejected battery assemblies from the production line and either reintroducing or scrapping components
Support the development, implementation and optimization of battery assembly rework processes and procedures
Troubleshoot and validate root cause analysis of failures
Improve production technologies to prevent recurring failures in terms of quality, cost and robustness
Validate machines, tools and processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing production systems
Support production or production departments through hand-over, training and troubleshooting
