Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Mason, OH is seeking a Battery Manufacturing Process Engineer to design end-to-end assembly processes for battery modules and packs, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput. You will lead process improvements, develop standard work, support equipment and NPI, and partner with Quality, EHS, and Product Engineering to deliver scalable, repeatable production.

This role requires hands-on floor support, updating work instructions, training operators, and driving cost reductions

Qualifications

• Experience creating end-to-end manufacturing processes for battery modules and packs.
• Ability to train production teams on new procedures and standard work.
• Strong collaboration with EHS, Quality, and Product Engineering.
• Data-driven approach to process optimization and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end processes for battery module and pack assembly.
• Create standard work, instructions, visuals, and revisions aligned to drawings and BOMs.
• Train production teams on new or updated procedures and ensure adherence.
• Support equipment/tools selection, commissioning, and ramp to volume.
• Lead or participate in pilot builds and smooth handoffs from engineering to production.
• Track, analyze, and improve key process metrics to reduce scrap and downtime.
