Job summary

BorgWarner seeks a Production Engineering Technician to support Seneca Battery manufacturing. The role involves troubleshooting process issues, validating equipment, and partnering with engineers to maintain quality standards.

This position emphasizes safety, uptime, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has an engineering/technical background, 2+ years in a technical role, and familiarity with manufacturing software and BOM/tooling processes.

Qualifications

Requires an Associate's degree in engineering or technical field or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years in a technical role; automotive industry preferred.
Experience supporting battery/energy storage or high-voltage manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support engineer on designated departmental process to provide a reliable, stable, and sustainable process for machinery, gauging, quality, tooling, capacity, and documentation.
Assist with new product launches including manufacturing plans, operator work content, machine capability, and information flow.
Support capacity planning and capital forecasting.
