BorgWarner is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Seneca, SC to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires CAD/CAM experience and collaboration with engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering, strong problem solving, and proficiency in CAD, CAM, and data analysis tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, with a focus on continuous improvement

Formación

• Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
• Preferably experience evaluating and fixing manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Preferably experience troubleshooting PLC error codes (Siemens).
• Preferably experience in robotics (Kuka).
• Preferably experience using CAD, CAM, and data analysis software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• High level of technical expertise.
• Strong analytical problem solving.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Resolving problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
• Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
• Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products.
• Developing and implementing cost-saving measures and quality control systems.
• Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products align with safety standards and legal regulations.
• Maintaining research and activity documentation and preparing reports.
• Build and perform preventative maintenance program.
• Assist in set-up, testing, validation and run of new equipment.
• Build and maintain spare parts list.
• Writes add to stocks to make sure we have the correct spare parts on hand.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving using 8D, 6 Sigma, etc.
• Develops/updates process docs (SOPs, control plans, FMEA, FPPA, tool sheets).
• Ongoing support of equipment after full-time production; safety issue troubleshooting.
• Provide 5S support and cross-shift coverage as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
