Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Process Engineer II to drive process improvements in cell manufacturing. You will lead initiatives focused on reducing defects, introducing new materials and models, and validating specifications while optimizing overall equipment effectiveness.

Collaboration with cross‑functional teams and data-driven problem solving are essential components of the role.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train operators on new processes or tooling.
• Willingness to work between manufacturing floor and office/desking areas.
• Knowledge of process development and improvement; data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects focusing on defect-rate reductions and efficiency.
• Develop and implement process strategies and SOPs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to drive line improvements and countermeasures.
• Monitor processes and ensure product specifications are met.
• Support new model conversions and line setups.
• Apply data-driven decision making to optimize manufacturing.
