Job summary

Joby is seeking a Powertrain Mechanical Engineer, Battery to design components, subassemblies and systems for advanced propulsion. You will perform models/simulations to guide design decisions and plan development tests, working with external vendors and internal manufacturing teams to build hardware.

You should have a B.S. in mechanical engineering, 2+ years of industry experience, and strong Catia 3D Experience and first-principles analysis skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in mechanical engineering.
• 2+ years of industry experience; full-stack with exposure to test, design, equipment/component selection, hands-on builds, bring-up and troubleshooting.
