New Beacon Building LLC, a small, early-stage company, is hiring its first full-time technician to repair and test lithium-ion battery packs. You’ll perform precision spot welding, soldering, BMS work, and pack testing, working directly with the owner.

This role emphasizes careful documentation, clear explanations of actions, and active participation in certification processes. Mandarin reading ability is a plus; strong safety habits are essential.

Competenze

• 1+ year hands-on technical experience in electronics or battery work.
• Soldering skill in electronics or fine precision work.
• Spot welding experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand electrical concepts and measure with basic tools.

Mansioni

• Perform precision spot welding to specification.
• Soldering, BMS and circuitry repair.
• Test finished packs for capacity, resistance, and current under load.
• Diagnose faults and document root cause.
• Maintain clean records of work and test results.
• Follow safety procedures for handling, charging, and storing Li-ion cells.
• Produce technical documentation to support certification work.
