Job summary

Stealth-mode Battery Startup is seeking an Engineering Technician - Battery Test to join our lab team. You will build, operate, and maintain battery test systems for lithium-ion cells, modules, and HV packs.

You will work closely with test engineers and other disciplines to generate reliable data and ensure safety. The role emphasizes hands-on testing, instrumentation setup, and contributing to ongoing improvements in lab processes and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in electrical/mechanical work.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on lab skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience using common laboratory equipment for testing and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and operate battery test setups under guidance of senior engineers.
• Prepare cells, modules, and HV packs for testing and collect high-quality data.
• Safely connect battery hardware and instrumentation; monitor tests and logs.
• Maintain test records and document observations throughout testing.
• Support calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient lab operation.
