Job summary

Enovix Corporation seeks a hands-on Technical Project Lead to anchor battery NPI programs across cell, module and pack builds, ensuring tooling, process and operations readiness from prototype through MPV.

You will bridge R&D and manufacturing, manage factory readiness, lead cross-functional teams on line design, quality checks, ECOs, and customer-facing reviews to ensure on-time, fully qualified NPIs with robust documentation and successful handoffs to high-volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in battery manufacturing (cell/module/pack).
• 7+ years of experience in technical project management or NPI execution in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with battery manufacturing processes, from electrode (mixing, coating, calendering) through cell assembly, formation, testing, and pack assembly.
• Familiarity with EVT/DVT/PVT/MPV/HVM stages and direct experience with equipment bring-up, layout planning, and line validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI execution from EVT/DVT/PVT through MPV to meet schedule and quality.
• Bridge R&D and Manufacturing translating design into scalable processes.
• Prepare factory readiness: tool procurement, installation, qualification, line layout.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, supply chain to resolve blockers.
• Lead customer-facing technical reviews and issue closure (8D, CAPA).
