Job summary

EnPower, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive process development and equipment launches for lithium-ion cell production.

You will partner with Product Engineers and Technicians to build robust processes, run experiments, and implement solutions through factory startups. You will develop technical specs, perform FAT/SAT, document work instructions and PFMEAs, and train staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in fast-paced manufacturing, preferably Li-ion or battery manufacturing.
• Experience with process documentation (work instructions, control plans, PFMEAs).
• Strong analysis and problem-solving (8D/5Why, PDCA).
• Excellent cross-functional communication with engineers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, write specs for new equipment, and manage FAT/SAT.
• Plan and install new manufacturing equipment and qualification processes.
• Map and analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and optimize for quality and cost.
• Provide data to show manufacturability at spec for new equipment.
• Train technicians on new processes and provide feedback to design for manufacturability.
