Job summary

Sila, a next-generation battery materials company, is seeking an NPI Program Manager to lead new battery cell development and qualification with manufacturing partners. You will drive high-velocity execution at the intersection of R&D, operations, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities include end-to-end NPI, DFMEA/PFMEA, and coordinating cross-functional teams across R&D, Product, Ops, and Quality. You will present updates to executives and hand off mass-production-ready cells to Operations

Qualifications

6+ years in high-tech hardware product development (batteries, semiconductors, or automotive).
Direct experience with lithium-ion battery manufacturing and cell qualification.
Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical Eng, Materials Science, Mechanical Eng, or Electrochemistry.
Proven cross-functional leadership across R&D, operations and quality.
Clear verbal and written communication to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end NPI execution with new suppliers and OEMs.
Coordinate cross-functional deliverables between R&D, Product, Ops, and Quality.
Own DFMEA and PFMEA frameworks for cell designs and processes.
Present updates and risks to executives and stakeholders.
Hand off mass-production-ready cells to Operations for scale-up.
