Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC in Georgia is seeking a BMA Production Specialist to support daily battery module assembly operations, apply problem-solving methods, and help meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

You will partner with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Materials, coach supervisors on standardized work, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize product and equipment knowledge to maximize production efficiency.
• Support issue resolution by conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to drive rapid and lasting performance improvements.
• Partner with Process Engineering to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support initiatives focused on reducing scrap, cycle time, and equipment downtime.
• Ensure adherence to established procedures for data collection, documentation, reporting, and process control.
• Coordinate the effective utilization of raw materials and production resources to support operational goals.
• Monitor daily performance metrics and KPIs, driving actions to achieve departmental objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, cost reduction, productivity, efficiency, and environmental performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Materials, Maintenance, Quality, and other internal departments to resolve production-related challenges.
• Assist in coaching and developing Production Supervisors and team members on standardized work, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement principles.
• Promote consistent work practices and ensure production teams follow established standard operating procedures across all shifts.
• Support training efforts by providing guidance and technical assistance to production team members on processes, equipment, and best practices.
• Participate in Kaizen activities and continuous improvement projects to enhance operational performance and manufacturing efficiency.
