Nyobolt is seeking an Equipment Engineering Technician to support battery cell development at our Bedford, MA facility. You will maintain and repair lab and pilot cell equipment, including vacuum pumps, ovens, and pouch sealers, while coordinating with engineers on complex issues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years maintaining complex mechanical/electro-mechanical equipment in lab/manufacturing/field service.
• Precise and reliable, able to handle high-value systems.
• Familiarity with basic electrical systems to identify repair scope.
• Exposure to control systems, HMIs, sensor networks; 3D printing a plus.
• Collaborative team player with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Own preventive maintenance and repair of lab and pilot cell equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures with engineers or vendors as needed.
• Execute setups and changeovers to support program priorities.
• Document and simplify maintenance procedures for knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with engineering on new equipment and tooling; support installation and commissioning.
