Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking a passionate Cost Management Financial Analyst to support Battery Manufacturing North Carolina across month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management. You will partner with manufacturing, procurement, product planning, engineering, and leadership to deliver timely insights and drive profitability.

The role emphasizes data-driven recommendations, financial storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, accounting, manufacturing finance, cost management, or related function.
• Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools to build reports, models, and dashboards.
• Strong communication and business partnering skills across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close activities with accruals and journal entries.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans; explain drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Support cost management initiatives and drive cost competitiveness across units.
• Provide financial guidance for operational, sourcing, investment, and product decisions.
• Develop standardized reports and analytics to improve decision-making and performance.
