Job summary

Mobis North America is seeking a Cost Analyst to support cost tracking and analysis for automotive projects, including battery and chassis components. You will work with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Sales to capture all cost drivers and optimize profitability.

The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience, and a background in accounting or finance. The team emphasizes accurate cost breakdowns, RFQ support, and robust financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in cost analysis, financial planning, or accounting.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP or cost management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report project costs including materials, labor, logistics, and overhead expenses.
• Manage project budgets and cost estimates while monitoring cost performance and variance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Sales, and Purchasing teams to control costs and evaluate design changes.
• Support RFQs and pricing activities by developing cost models and ensuring competitive, profitable quotations.
• Conduct financial and profitability analyses (DCF, NPV, IRR, payback) and provide management reporting.
