Job summary

Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) is seeking a passionate Cost Management Financial Analyst to drive month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management across battery programs. You will partner with manufacturing, procurement, product planning, engineering, and leadership to provide timely, actionable insights that support profitability.

The role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and the ability to translate data into business recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), accounting, manufacturing finance, cost management, or related function.
• Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, reporting, and analysis.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans with variance analysis.
• Support product and business unit cost management initiatives and drive cost competitiveness.
• Partner with manufacturing, procurement, product planning, engineering, and leadership for financial guidance on decisions.
• Develop standardized reporting and analytics to improve decision-making and performance.
