Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) is hiring a Battery Production Engineer to support pre-mass production trials and mass production activities for BEV battery manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve equipment knowledge, plan trials, and implement process improvements.
The role emphasizes problem-solving, data-driven analysis, and leadership in safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate problem-solving in a fast paced, high-speed manufacturing environment.
- Experience with leading cross functional groups toward safety, quality, productivity and/or cost savings.
- Experience with project management including scope of work, schedules, and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Mass Production: support trials, build knowledge, and plan equipment for battery production.
- Mass Production: provide engineering support on the shop floor and lead changepoint management.
