Job summary

David Energy is seeking a Field Technician to deploy and activate battery systems across our growing NYC customer base. You will perform hands-on installation, integration with the David Energy platform, and ensure safe, reliable operations from day one.

You’ll collaborate with customer success, product operations, and engineering to meet installation standards, document work precisely, and support scalable deployment across hundreds of sites.

Qualifications

• Based in NYC to install at sites across the city.
• Hands-on experience in a technical field installation or service role.

Responsibilities

• Install battery systems and electrical equipment at customer sites following procedures.
• Connect batteries to the platform and cloud monitoring systems.
• Complete QA checks and document installation records.
• Diagnose and resolve field installation issues; escalate when needed.
• Provide smooth handoff to customers and assist with inventory management.
• Coordinate with vendors to complete work on schedule.
